Hartford Connecticut Landmarks -  Primrose Path

This clock monument is made of granite
and was dedicated on the Waterbury Green
in 1915. The development of this clock
was the idea of Chales A. Cooley, then
president of the Chamber of Commerce.
While many appreciated the clock , many
others lamented the passing of the garden
it replaced. Pictured above is that landmark
in miniature The height of this piece is 7 1/2"
